Ahead of the Game / Random thoughts

For this week to be such a whirlwind and its only Tuesday evening I am gaining some new ground. I feel like I should have been working a week ahead all along in the biblestudy but I was able to come home and do a fairly good amount of homework last night!

I just finished the SLI book, so yes I feel lighter today! Yaa ME!

My daughter started driving today in the "dreaded" driver's ed. car. She informed me that it wasn't the new Focus car that other's were getting to drive either! She suffered thru and made it home alive. I wasn't here to embarrass her with a pic' moment either. Story of my life, my children's momumental highlights are never documented other than in our memories! Dang it! I did get a new camera for my birthday and I'm still learning how to use it!
I did finish reading the book but I am wanting to go back over it and highlight the points that stuck out so I can refer back to them again and again! Looking forward to April 24th simulcast but I don't see much hope it being more than 10 of us attending and I am taking a leap there on that number also.

Movie night for the BBC is Tuesday with Pizza downstairs in the theatre section aka.... the Man Cave. We watched Hachi-A Dog's Tale. It was sad and I love Richard Gere in anything he does. I know what my crew is up to. Our dog Shorty passed away 3 weeks ago and they are testing Mom right now to see where her boundaries are in getting the clearance for a new dog for our family. I must look like I can be swayed easily or something ???? Problem is I know I will fall in love with whatever is brought home, I just haven't told them that yet! I am holding out for as long as I can fake'em out with it! but who am I kidding? they know me and are on to me better than I like to admit!!!

Celebration of the Resurrection this week, Easter is my favorite holiday. The Resurrection Power is what saves us and keeps us! Praying for my son to have his heart opened to salvation! He has so much more of God's word sewn in his heart than Taylor did at her age when she professed Christ as her Savior! I sense in my spirit his experience will be much different than hers. Just like Mary pondering and keeping these things all in my heart and trusting God with all the results.

I have experienced some miracles and answered prayers in the last few months. I want to stop and thank God for all I've seen Him accomplish in my life and the lives of those dearest to me. Miracles in walking flesh, some sure didn't turn out the way we petitioned God but filtered thru His will, much good was brought forth from much pain! When I look back to last year and my walk with the Lord, there's been a time where the Lord has pruned back things in my life and I am beginning to see a spring season from that time until now. Fresh view / Fresh new Hope springing from the new plantings of the Lord. In Romans 11:36. For of HIM and to HIM and through HIM are all things, to whom be Glory forever, Amen
