Musings on Monday

Start a blog and the followers Come, haha ! Just like God told Noah to build the ark and the animals would come to him ! Well maybe not that literal but amazingly after one short email I now have at least 2 people reading the posts that I write, like I said Amazing!

My son J. won 3rd place in the Science Fair at his school

We were so surprised and got there just in time for him to receive his reward ribbon and recognition.
Seriously like 3-5 minutes and then they are calling his name out, haha, I'm so glad we arrived just in time! thanks everyone who has given his so much encouragement and prayer in this year of growth in his life!

T. has passed all her classes and exams with straight A's way to go! and keeping in accordance with the Jr. Beta club who have to maintain those grades to keep that status going!  She is finishing Drivers Ed. Thursday and my nerves will never be the same. I doubt I am ready for this one! Here she is with one of her best friends Chelsey at a December Radio concert.

Oh, I am learning to blog and catching on, and to be like my idol D. who I am sending out to Texas on her own and she has to have a pink feather boa and I must have a pic of this! God speed sister, I will be there with you in spirit!

First things first .... go, Lisa with the pictures on your blog. I'm sure I had my blog for a year before I knew how to post pictures. Completely self-taught, this ole blog of mine.

Surely you are mistaken about driver's ed. Driver's ed? My goodness.

Congratulations, J on 3rd place. So, so cute.

Girl, you will never see a picture of me with a pink feather boa. Eric dug out a new pink scarf one of my students gave me for Christmas and I said that will have to do.

Ecc.4:12b and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. This verse popped into my mind as I read about your mom holding your hand during a time when fear would overwhelm you. You found security in the intertwining of your fingers, palm to palm, hand to hand with your mothers. You felt safe and secure as long as your hand was intwined with hers. I am thankful for that threefolded chord that has intertwined our hearst together thru Christ Jesus our LORD!!. Our Father provides that same comfort and security. Just as His word states He will never leave us nor forsake us, we have that promise, a promise of Him never letting go. Now as your roles have reversed it is you who is providing safety and comfort, security and love to your mother, with nothing more than an intertwining of your hand in hers. Sometimes the simplest of things are the most heart felt. I am thankful that God intertwines our hearts with His wether it be thru our time alone with Him, or the reading of His love letter to us, thru the encouraging word He has sent thru a friend, or just simply our hands intertiwned in His gentle, yet nail pireced hands reminding us daily of His unconditional love. I love you sis!! I Samuel 18:3
