Spiritual Children

Isaiah 49:15-18 (HCSB) 15 "Can a woman forget her nursing child, or lack compassion for the child of her womb? Even if these forget, yet I will not forget you. Look, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
your walls are continually before Me. Look up, and look around. They all gather together; they come to you. As I live"—the LORD's declaration—"you will wear all your children as jewelry, and put them on as a bride does.

I thank God for making me a mother. I fail more times than I get it right but by His grace we get back up and do it all over again the next day for several times a day just depending!
I am not only blessed with my own 2 but several others. I am priviledged to have been a SS teacher for a good while now....not exactly sure how long but lets just say I have a lot of spiritual children too. My friend Pam never married and didn't have chilren of her own but she raised her neice and nephew and many many other children in her family. She had spiritual children too. Just like the scripture above. I am beginning to see many prayers answered in my "childrens' lives" Tonight we went to the Shelter on 5th street to serve and those kids made me just want to burst out in praise to our heavenly Father. They helped out people, served them in Christ's name and then sat down and talked with them, gave out tracts and witnessed as I have never seen them before. It was amazing the answers to prayers I'd prayed 7-10 years ago for God to use them, set them apart, glorify His name through them, allow them to affect the kingdom for His glory and names sake! It was the most beautiful thing I have ever saw! Yes, yes, yes, Where is that scripture that says  YES in Jesus Christ the Father's Son???? Found it....
"Yes" has come about in Him. 20 For every one of God's promises is "Yes" in Him. Therefore the " Amen" is also through Him for God's glory through us. 1 Cor. 1:19-20

What a beautiful necklace I saw forming tonight. I thank God for our youth group and for God allowing me to work with them and be inspired by them and to grow up in Jesus along with them. To the family of God what a blessing you've been to me all these years. I can remember when each of you were born! Your first day at school and then the jump to middle school and now look at ya'll some of you are heading out to the high school next year! I pray for each of you and am so thankful to be apart of your lives. I know God is chosen you to be a peculiar people a royal priesthood to serve Him all your days. I can honestly say you'll never regret to giving your life to God and living for Jesus. I was sooo stinking proud of you guys tonight it makes me cry. I see missionaries, preachers, worship leaders, SS teachers, deacons, servants of the Most High and many prayer warriors for the future that God already sees as past.

Lord, I love my spiritual children, when they call me 2nd momma I'm grateful in my heart to be able to speak truth into their lives and one day we'll worship all around the Lord's throne together.

My heart is so full of gratitude, you can't help but tell it! Love you M*illersville Y*outh you're such a blessing!
